reading group: What is Soul
I have created a local, frontal reading group. Reading slowly, a few pages at the time:
An interesting question came up: On p. 3, the author writes: ...They want to have its reflection outside of it, in the antecedently given teachings of the great master, be it Jung or be it Freud, Winnicott, Kohut, and so on.
However, what role does the author's own writing and lecturing play here? is he directing the readers to take personal responsibility (see the next line in the book) and develop their own method? Is there another way from preventing him from being seen as one of the great masters that people are content to rest on?
This question is poignant, as I am not aware of any powerful psychological thinkers between Hillman (or André Green who passed away around the same time as Hillman) and Giegerich. Perhaps Thomas Ogden, who is a bit…

I found this! here it is. This should be open access, cause it appears as such, though, as I wrote, there is a glitch in donwloading it from the web.
